Honoring Rev. Dr. Charles Houston

With heavy hearts, the Faith Connection FCU family mourns the tragic passing of Rev. Dr. Charles Houston in the tragic events on Sapelo Island this weekend.

For many years, Rev. Houston selflessly served on our board and supervisory committee, inspiring us with his compassion and dedication to the community. As a retired UMC elder, he served as a chaplain for the Georgia Department of Public Safety, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, and the Department of Natural Resources – showing how he devoted his life to caring for others.

We extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones during this sorrowful time. His passing leaves grieving hearts and a challenge to meet his example of care wherever we go. Please be in prayer for his family and the many that he touched.
